Conophytum calculus is one of the most spherical Conophytums, producing perfect round, pea-sized bodies. Native to the Northern Cape of South Africa, it is a sought-after collector species.

Watering
Water only in autumn and spring (growing season). Keep dry in summer dormancy.
Light
Bright indirect light. Protect from harsh midday summer sun.
Soil
Very gritty mix — at least 60% perlite or grit. Excellent drainage essential.
Temperature
Keep above 5°C. Protect from frost.
Seasonal Note
All photos show the actual plants you will receive. During hot summer conditions, many brightly coloured succulents may naturally become greener. This is a normal seasonal response to higher temperatures and stronger light, where plants adjust their pigmentation — often reducing red or purple tones and showing more green as chlorophyll becomes dominant.
