Echeveria 'Red Velvet' is a Korean hybrid succulent renowned for its dramatic seasonal colouration. In spring and autumn its leaves turn vivid pink to deep red, with darker tips and a rich centre — the iconic "sugar heart" effect.
Dusted with fine white farina (powder coating), giving it a velvety, cake-like appearance. Perfect as a gift or statement plant.

Size
About 5cm rosette diameter
Watering
Soak and dry method. Water thoroughly then allow to dry fully. Reduce in winter.
Light
Bright light promotes the best red colouration. South-facing windowsill or outdoors in summer.
Soil
Gritty, free-draining succulent compost with added perlite.
Temperature
Keep above 5°C. Avoid frost. Best at 10–25°C.
Colour Note
Red and pink tones intensify with more light and cooler temperatures. Plants in low light will appear greener.
Seasonal Note
All photos show the actual plants you will receive. During hot summer conditions, many brightly coloured succulents may naturally become greener. This is a normal seasonal response to higher temperatures and stronger light, where plants adjust their pigmentation — often reducing red or purple tones and showing more green as chlorophyll becomes dominant.
