Lithops, also known as Living Stones, are miniature succulents native to the arid regions of South Africa and Namibia. Their stone-like appearance is a natural adaptation that helps them camouflage in their environment and avoid being eaten by animals.

Most Lithops bloom in autumn, producing delicate white or yellow flowers. In cultivation, many Lithops are identified by C-numbers (Cole numbers), a field numbering system created by the renowned Lithops researcher Desmond Cole.

Seasonal Note

All photos show the actual plants you will receive. During hot summer conditions, many brightly coloured succulents may naturally become greener. This is a normal seasonal response to higher temperatures and stronger light, where plants adjust their pigmentation — often reducing red or purple tones and showing more green as chlorophyll becomes dominant.
